Description
This is Actual. Make the call. Build a base, haul supplies, train an army and break the enemy's, with present-day armour, aircraft and artillery.
Callsign Actual is a real-time strategy game in the Command & Conquer tradition: base building, supply hauling, training and fighting, with present-day military hardware. Two factions, each with its own units, defences and support powers. Single-player skirmish against an AI opponent, on Windows and Linux.
On a military radio net, “Actual” means the commander in person, not a radio operator speaking for them. In Callsign Actual, that’s the player.
Features
- The classic base-building loop: harvest, build, train, fight.
- Two factions, the Task Force and OPFOR, each with 10 trainable units, its own defences, base architecture and voices (English for the Task Force, Russian for OPFOR).
- Four support powers per side from a Tactical Operations Center: UAV Recon, Artillery Barrage or Rocket Barrage, Air Strike or Lancet Strike, and Supply Drop. The aircraft involved can be shot down.
- Four battlefields: Crossroads, Timberland, Highlands, Ironworks.
- High ground adds range and sight, cliffs block movement, trees block sight, and fog of war hides the enemy until you scout.
- Attack and transport helicopters and a gunship, which rearm at the Helipad, against dedicated anti-air on both sides.
- Full controller support with a virtual cursor and a control-group wheel. The interface scales up on handhelds such as the Steam Deck.
- Save and load anywhere.
